So you know what I’m talking about.
Lynx’s Review Process
When I review a book, I’ll first leisurely read it to completion (or until I can’t take it anymore). Once I’m done, I’ll give it a rating and spice score. Next is writing down as much of a review as I can at the moment. Then it’s back to the beginning of the book to see if I can bring myself to do a chapter-by-chapter review/summary. I’ll steal from my chapter reviews to bulk up the main review. It’s quite the process! I don’t know why I do this to myself.
The rating systems I use are a mix of various systems I found online. (The descriptions are all me!) If any of this sounds familiar, you’ve probably seen one of the systems I picked apart. Or maybe, just maybe, it’s because there are only so many ways you can have a unique rating system.
